A while back i dropped my car on rokkor coils (i was originally going to get racelands but they were out of stock) and i put the front all the way to the bottom thread, and the rears with 5 threads left. im beyond happy with them...........except for one thing. im not low enough. even with the rs4 lip kit, i still have at least 3.5 inches from my front bumper to the ground. i live in san antonio and the roadwork here is terrible so i dont want to dump the car, but i really want to be lower. i dont want to remove the perches because of a rough ride and possibly being too low. i have been thinking about getting a wind splitter or a small lip that i can put just below my front rs4 lip so it makes my front bumper lower, but i think it might look pretty over done already having the rs4 lip. what i need from all of you guys is some advice on what i should do. im not asking you to flame me for having rokkor coils and a wheel spacer-less car. THANKS

I'll be picking up my built long block June 1st so the OEM 2azfe motor will be coming out of my 07 tC. Motor has 97k miles only 2k boosted. Before I boosted it compression test showed 174 across all 4 cylinders, test was done twice. I babied this motor and the only reason I'm selling/trading it is because I don't have a garage to store it. There are several things I will need to take from the OEM block like valve & timing cover, coil packs, timing (chain, guides, tensioner), oil pan. Local pick up only, located in Chicago.

Subaru BRZ Might See Turbo Variant, Scion FR-S Will Not

his really isn’t a huge surprise, but we all kept our fingers crossed hoping that Scion would eventually come out with a turbocharged model to pump...

his really isn’t a huge surprise, but we all kept our fingers crossed hoping that Scion would eventually come out with a turbocharged model to pump even more performance into an already great sports car. Currently the FR-S is powered by a 2.0-liter with 200 hp and 151 lb-ft of torque, and with a price tag of $24,930 with a manual transmission, it’s a great bang for the buck.

But the price tag is what is limiting Scion from developing a turbocharged variant. By offering a turbocharged model, pricing could near the $30,000 mark at which point consumers have a variety of options to choose from. Besides, Scion models were never meant to be that expensive. We still hope that TRD will release a supercharger option for the FR-S, similar to what it gives current Scion tC owners.

There’s still hope for the Japanese Toyota GT 86. As part of the Toyota moniker, the Japanese automaker could possibly offer a turbocharged variant of its sports car, but again, we wouldn’t hold our breath on that.
Subaru, on the other hand, has enjoyed success with its turbocharged WRX STi, so it’s possible that it would offer a turbocharged BRZ. Pricing isn’t as big of an issue for Subaru customers, with the STi well over the $30,000 mark.
In an interview with Auto Express UK however, Subaru global marketing manager Atoshi Atake said the BRZ will not be turbocharged due to the lack of room at the front of the engine bay for an intercooler. More importantly, he said that Subaru would “want to keep turbocharging separate. It is for models like the WRX STi.”

While that sounds like Subaru is throwing out a turbocharged model out the window as well, we have strong beliefs that market demand will ultimately bring a BRZ Turbo to consumers. Subaru rejected the idea of a supercharger in the same interview, saying it would make fuel efficiency an issue.

Regardless, it seems that both automakers are content with how the BRZ, FR-S, and GT 86 are performing from the factory. But who wouldn’t want to see a turbocharged version of any of them?

It is time for me to part will my turbo kit it has been on the car for 5 months. I have another project i'm working on soo its is no need to have to turbo cars. This kit is top mount manifold with an Borg Warner S256 turbo. Car pulls hard. It all custom, custom intercooler pipe, custom 3in downpipe. I will consider parting out some minor thing but the manifold, turbo and intercooler pipe will stay together soo it bolts up for the buyer. I was really happy with the power the car made 317hp 324tq on 9psi. ALL parts cant be no older than 5 months old. My lost someone gain i have spend more on this kit than im selling it for the only thing u will need is a wideband im not selling the wideband.
